Refund Policy

We are deeply committed to delivering the most advanced AI video-creation experience—turning text into motion or bringing still images to life with fluid, cinematic quality. We value your trust and believe in full transparency, so below is our refund policy written specifically for the "text-to-video" and "image-to-video" world of Sora 2.

Understanding Sora 2's Refund Policy

To help you make an informed purchase, here are the key facts:

  • Every render consumes high-performance GPU clusters; the instant credits are delivered we pay our compute providers.
  • Once credits are issued the cost is irreversible.

Subscription Refund Guidelines

Because video generation is an on-demand, compute-heavy service, monthly and annual subscriptions are generally non-refundable for the following reasons:

  1. All credits are granted in full the moment payment succeeds.
  2. The moment rendering starts, compute costs are locked in.
  3. We immediately settle these costs with upstream GPU & inference partners.

We truly appreciate your understanding—after credits are issued we cannot reclaim the resources already paid for.

Exceptions

We will review partial refunds in only two scenarios:

  1. Extended Outage
    If our platform is unavailable for five (5) consecutive calendar days or more and you are unable to create any video, you may request a 50% refund of the current subscription fee.
  2. Accidental Duplicate Purchase
    If you are charged multiple times for the same plan within one (1) hour, contact us immediately; we will refund the extra order in full and absorb any processing fees.

Note: Scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, or temporary glitches lasting fewer than five consecutive days are part of normal service evolution and do not qualify for compensation.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe your case meets an exception, email support@sora2video.ai within seven (7) calendar days and include:

  • Your registered email address
  • Order / transaction ID
  • Exact dates & times of the outage OR screenshots of duplicate charges
  • A brief explanation (≤ 200 words)

We will review and respond within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method and confirmed by email.

Service Stability & Continuous Iteration

AI video generation is evolving rapidly. Model upgrades, scaling events, or new feature roll-outs may occasionally cause queue delays or temporary feature adjustments. Whenever possible we schedule maintenance between 00:00-06:00 UTC. Thank you for your patience as we push the boundaries of creative AI.
